Guide
Which photos should I upload for AI profile photos?
Upload 4–8 recent photos of just you, with your face clearly visible, taken on different days and in different light. Then pick the one that looks most like you: the Studio puts it first, ahead of your other photos, every time it makes or changes a photo. Skip group photos, sunglasses, heavy filters and photos of anyone else.
What makes a good photo to upload?
Your face is clear and in focus, you are the only person in the frame, and nothing covers your eyes. Ordinary phone photos are fine; they don't need to be professional.
How many photos should I upload?
Between 4 and 8. A session won't start with fewer than 4 or more than 8. When the Studio makes a new scene, it uses all of them together, with the one you picked first.
Should they all look the same?
No. The Studio uses all your photos together as references for your face when it makes a new scene, so choose photos from different angles, in different light and on different days, not several copies of the same moment.
What should I leave out?
Group photos, photos with sunglasses or a hat that hides your face, strong filters or beauty edits, very dark or blurry photos, and any photo of someone else. You can only upload photos of yourself, and you must be 18 or older.
Does the photo I pick first matter?
Yes. Before a session starts, you pick the one photo that looks most like you, and the session won't start until you do. That photo goes first every time: a new scene uses it with the rest of your photos, and a change to a photo you already have uses it alongside that photo.
What happens to my uploads?
They are deleted 30 days after your most recent purchase. Every photo the Studio makes is AI-generated and labelled that way.
